Tulane University Hospital and Clinic (TUH), a 355 Bed Tertiary Care Academic Medical Center is presently seeking candidates for the ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF PHARMACY position. In addition to the Flagship Hospital located in the heart of vibrant New Orleans, there is also a 120 bed facility located in Metairie that specializes in women’s healthcare needs. TUH offers comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services in all medical specialties and services including Oncology, Cardiology and Transplant.

Sierra Staffing has been a leader for over 16 years in the area of Health System Pharmacy Recruitment. We have been retained by TUH to identify and evaluate candidates for the Director of Pharmacy position.
As you may expect, the Pharmacy Department offers comprehensive pharmacy programs including research activities and 24 hour pharmacy services. Completely automated with Pyxis throughout the hospital, Bed Side Bar Coding, EMAR and moving towards CPOE. The Pharmacy is staffed with 50 FTE’s that support comprehensive clinical pharmacy services. Future initiatives include the development of a PGY-1 and PGY-2 Residency program, implementation of additional clinical pharmacy programs, and expansion of pharmacy services to service line areas. The annual budget is approximately $29 million.
